News & Updates

It’s that time again for SBDM Elections!!!  From April 13th - 22nd, 2015 we will be taking parent nominations for the 2015-2016 Bend Gate SBDM Council.  The parent election will be held on April 25th, 2015.  If you have not served on a council before, we encourage you to consider it and seek more information about SBDM Councils and their duties.  Nominations can be emailed to Conni Stoner or Brenda Phillips, or they can be handwritten and put in FRC mailbox or given to Conni Stoner or Brenda Phillips.

Bend Gate Elementary needs your help!  As a way of incorporating the 7 habits in to our students’ lives, we have a “Sharpen the Saw day.”  This allows our students to be involved in different activities that will enrich their minds, bodies, and spirits.  Some of these activities include crafts, arts, games, dancing, helping the community, and much more!  Our next Sharpen the Saw day will be held on March 6th, and we would like to invite you to help your child’s homeroom teacher.  Your child may be in another room participating in a different activity, but you will be able to help his/her homeroom teacher enrich the lives of other Bend Gate students.  If you are interested in helping from 1:45-2:15pm on Friday, March 6th, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher by Wednesday, March 4th.  Thank you for your support!
