We have a new on-line program this year, Odysseyware. This interactive program has many great features including dynamic audio and video files and 3-D animation to illustrate concepts and much more. Odysseyware can be accessed 24-7 wherever internet is available.

Students, please remember to bring headphones when working at HCA and log in EVERY DAY TO STAY CURRENT on your assignments.

Plan ahead for upcoming tests since all students must come to HCA to access any test.

About Us
What is HCA?

Henderson County Academy is a non-traditional, voluntary program using flexible scheduling, and creating an alternative for students who may benefit from a differently structured, independent approach to credit achievement.

The program will address the educational needs of students and allow progress toward academic completion of a diploma for those not on track to graduate with their entering freshman class.

How Do I Apply?
  • Students must be referred if currently attending Henderson County High School.

  • Student will have an intake interview with Head Teacher, Lesli Werner.  If student is under 18, guardian is requested to be present.
