The New RTI Plan

Good afternoon this is Mr. Reusch from South Middle School.  I would like to inform you about a short period of your child’s school day we call RTI.  This year it is a 25 minute period of each day where we focus on academic improvement.  Sometimes there is a misconception that this period is only for students who struggle.  Our vision of this RTI period revolves around helping EVERY student become the best they can be.  So, regardless of your child’s academic level or GPA, they will all be pulled in for RTI by their content teachers at some point during the year.  In addition, we will sprinkle in other enrichment opportunities.  These will include a Drama class, a Dance Class, a Club Day and the Accelerated Reader Program.  Please email me if you have any questions.  Thank you.
