The Henderson County High School Site Based Decision Making Parent Council Elections were held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. The parents elected for the 2012-2013 SBDM Council are Scott Davis and Cathy Thrasher. Thank you to all the parents who participated in the election and for those who were willing to be nominated to serve.

North Middle School Interim Principal Named
An interim principal has been appointed as the acting administrator for North Middle School. Effective Monday, May 7, Mr. Darrell Daigle will fulfill the duties assigned the position of principal set forth by board policy and the KRS regulations. Mr. Daigle is a former English teacher, dean of students, and assistant principal at Henderson County High School. During the last four years, he has served at the district office as Director of Secondary Education and currently serves as the Executive Director of Academic Services and Research. He will fill the interim principal position at North Middle until a permanent replacement can be named.

Henderson County Academy will conduct its graduation ceremony on Tuesday, May 29, at 6:00 p.m. in the South Middle School auditorium.
