Henderson County Schools Summer Food Service Program Schedule

Henderson County Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Henderson County Schools Customer Service Survey

Henderson County Schools is committed to meeting the needs of our students, families, and staff in the best way that we can. We believe that good customer service in the schools is very important in providing authentic service to all.

Please take a moment to complete the following survey. If you have children in multiple school locations, please complete the survey for each individual school. The purpose of the survey is to give our parents/families an opportunity to give feedback about the school their student attends, and to measure parent satisfaction across the district. They survey will be open May 5th-15th.

Spring K-PREP Testing

All Henderson County students in grades 3-5 will participate in K-PREP testing (Kentucky Performance Rating for Education Progress) during the week of May 8th-12th. Students in grades 6-8 will complete their final two days of K-PREP on May 8th and 9th. Students will take assessments in reading, math, science, social studies, writing, and language usage. Students in grade 11 will test in writing on May 11th. The tests are a combination of multiple-choice questions and constructed responses.

Henderson County High School Spring Band Concert set for May 4th

The Henderson County High School Band Program prepares to close out its 2016 - 2017 Concert Season with what is promised to be the most exciting concert of the year.The Spring Concert will take place on Thursday, May 4 at 7 PM at the Henderson Fine Arts Center and will feature the Concert/Symphonic Band, the Percussion Ensemble, and the Wind Ensemble, performing a variety of works following a couple of themes.
