NEW TEACHER STANDARD 6: THE TEACHER DEMONSTRATES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNOLOGY
The teacher uses technology to support instruction; access and manipulate data; enhance professional growth and productivity; communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community; and conduct research.

The NEW Teacher Technology Standards for Evaluation were released by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board in February of 2008. The entire set of standards can be accessed from their website at this link: http://www.kyepsb.net/documents/EduPrep/Kentuckyteacherstandards.doc
The sections below should help you to improve your own skills and increase the effective integration of technology into your classrooms. If you have a request for specific help that you cannot find on this page, please submit that request to Linda Payne or Richard Hilton.
