Turkey of the Year
Colonels’ Corner Bank presents the annual Turkey of the Year contest to raise money to buy 50 Henderson County children Christmas presents through the Adopt-A-Child program with the Volunteer Information Center of Henderson County. So far we have raised $927.12 and hope to raise $6500. Mrs. Grace, the advisor, shaved her head last year as the class raised over $10,000 for the first time ever. This year, two students, Nick Wimber and Isaiah Easley have agreed that if we reach $10,000, they will shave their heads in a pep rally. The student who has collected the most money so far is Ashton Todd at $265.00. Mrs. Shelia Wilson is in the lead for the teachers collecting $215.75. The contest started on November 11th and will end on the 25th.
On November 26nd at 12:00, CCB will hold the Turkey of the Year Awards program at Henderson County High School in room M106. The winners will be announced and given their crowns
