Career and Technical Education Center Open House Rescheduled

Career and Technology Education offers courses and programs that introduce students to career choices. It is a great opportunity for students to gain experience and training in information technology, construction, manufacturing technology, automotive technology, and welding, visual communication, health care, agriculture, banking, marketing, business and much more. Students should know:

Career and Technical Education prepares them for a bright future. It provides hands-on experience in careers that they cannot get in regular high school classes.
It teaches important skills, such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and goal setting that can help them succeed in a job.

It helps save money on college tuition and certifications. Students can earn college credit or work-related certifications while still in high school.

Students get to learn from experts. Career and Technical Education instructors are industry professionals with real job experience who teach using the latest equipment and technology.
Students can earn internships and get workplace experience through Career and Technical Education.

Career and Technical Education can help students do better in school. Learning real-world skills will keep them excited about school and motivate them to do well.
