2016 Kentucky FFA Chapter Contest

Eighty five local Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters will be honored at the 87th Annual State FFA convention in Lexington. Seventy-eight (78) chapters will be presented the Gold Emblem award, five (5) chapters will be presented the Silver Emblem award, and two (2) chapters will be presented the Bronze Emblem award.

Rebecca Johnson has been named principal of North Middle School. She was unanimously chosen by the Site Based Decision Making Council at North Middle when they met on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Her position is effective immediately.

HCHS Students Advance to National FBLA Competition

Henderson County High School took 25 students to compete in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Competition, April 18-20, 2016. The competition took place at the Galt House in Louisville, KY. The following students qualified to represent HCHS FBLA at FBLA National Competition in Atlanta, GA on June 29-July 2, 2016.

2016-2017 Registration for Kindergarten and Preschool Students

2016-2017 Kindergarten Registration

The Henderson County Schools will register kindergarten students for the 2016-2017 school year during the week of April 25, 2016.

Children who are five years of age on or before October 1, 2016, are eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year.
