Summer Food Service Program Training

The 2018 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will offer training for any organization or agency interested in participating in the program this year on May 3rd and May 4th. The Summer Food Service Program offers free meals to students 18 years of age and younger in the community. The program will run from May 29th until June 29th and again from July 9th until July 26th.

Henderson County High School Senior Projects Seeking Volunteers

Henderson County High School Senior Projects will be presented on April 23, 2018 – May 4, 2018. Volunteers are needed to help score the projects.  Students give a 10-minute presentation based on research and inquiry of a topic of choice. Volunteers are then able to discuss the project with the students and provide feedback and a score.

HCS Boundary Line Changes

Due to changes in elementary enrollment numbers over the past 10 years, it has caused overpopulation in some of our elementary schools to occur. District personnel have been examining current school boundary lines in anticipation of the 2018-19 school year.
