ACT State Testing Report for HCHS Juniors Assessed March 2017

All Henderson County High School (HCHS) juniors took the ACT (American College Testing) test in March 2017 as part of the Kentucky assessment program. The 2017 scores for HCHS are outlined below. The HCHS class of 2018 recorded ACT scores that are the highest ever on state testing. In addition to showing significant increases, the juniors scored well above the state average in all five areas.

Power Restored at North Middle School. Classes Resume on Wednesday.

Power was restored this morning, Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at North Middle School after an electrical transformer malfunction occurred on Monday, August 21, 2017. Students were evacuated and safely transported to Henderson County High School.

Classes at North Middle School will resume on regular schedule on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Staff members are in the building today preparing for school to be back in session tomorrow.

North Middle School Dismissal procedures 8/21/2017

North Middle School students will be dismissed at 3:25 p.m. from Henderson County High School in the following manner:

Bus Riders: will ride regular bus home.  Busses will be on the outside bus lane at HCHS.

Car Riders: Use Garden Mile Road to enter Stadium Drive.  Students will exit Door 12 behind the CTE unit.

Walkers: Walkers will be taken by bus to North Middle School so they can walk home from there.
