Explore/Plan/ACT Testing

Kentucky students participate in EPAS which is the taking of the nationally normed tests, EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT.

The EXPLORE is taken in 8th grade

The PLAN is taken in 10th grade

The ACT is taken in 11th and is required for admission into college. A student can take the ACT as many times as they like.
Colleges will look at the highest score.

Youth Mental Health Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent
(age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.
