Dr. Bob Lawson, Superintendent of Henderson County Schools, received an overall exemplary performance level from the Henderson County Board of Education during his recent annual superintendent evaluation.

Exemplary - Exceeds the standard
Accomplished - Meets the standard

Growth Required - Area(s) required to be addressed in the Professional Growth Plan
Dr. Lawson has served as Superintendent of Henderson County Schools since December 2020.
During the recent Board of Education meeting, Chairman Mike Waller shared the results of Dr. Lawson’s annual evaluation for the 2024 – 2025 school year.
“Dr. Lawson has been evaluated by the Henderson County Board of Education with a cumulative assessment of accomplishments that exceeds the expectations of our evaluation process,” Waller stated. “He received Exemplary ratings in all seven leadership standards, with particular strengths noted in Managerial Leadership, Strategic Leadership, Cultural Leadership, and Human Resource Leadership.”
Waller concluded by commending Dr. Lawson’s commitment to excellence: “The Board is proud to provide its full support as he continues to lead our local school district with vision and dedication.”
