Friday, 9/5 - Colonel Crazies Student Section Participation Points

  • Spreadsheet will be created with all students and grades listed before HALFTIME

    • All students in the student section before halftime will be eligible for $10 tickets to dance

  • Spreadsheet will include students involved in the game (football, cheer, dance, band, JROTC)

  • The highest percentage of each grade level will earn the FIRST points for Spirit Week

    • 1st - 20 points, 2nd - 15 points, 3rd - 10 points, 4th - 5 points

  • Theme Info:

    • Jerseys, hats, and team spirit gear!

    • Inspired by the iconic football TV show and sports movies like Space Jam, Remember the Titans, A League of Their Own, Mighty Ducks, Moneyball, The Sandlot, and Coach Carter.

    • Everyone “sets the scene” like they’re in a classic sports movie or TV show.

  • Points Info:

    • Attendance Points (40-30-20-10) - 20 Bonus Points 95%+

    • Movie Clip Trivia 1st Period & 7th Period - 10 Points Each

    • Best Dressed During Lunch - 5 Points Each

    • Colonel Trivia During Lunch - 5 Points Each

    • Staff vs. Staff Volleyball Rally - 10 Points Each Win

      • 10 vs. 12 (10 minutes or first to 15)

      • 9 vs. 11 (10 minutes or first to 15)

      • Winners vs. Winners (10 minutes or first to 15)

    • Donation Item - TISSUES or Paper Towels (20-15-10-5 for MOST Donated)

Monday, 9/15 – Opening Credits: Pajama Day

  • Start the week simple and fun with pajamas or comfy “movie night” outfits.

  • Bonus: robes, slippers, bonnets, stuffed animals, etc.

  • DONATION: Peanut Butter Crackers

Tuesday, 9/16 – Double Feature: Twin Day

  • Pair up with a friend (or two) as twins, trios, or famous duos.

  • Options: Woody & Buzz, SpongeBob & Patrick, Mickey & Minnie, Batman & Robin, Elsa & Anna, etc.

  • Can also just match outfits for an easy option.

  • DONATION: Deodorant

Wednesday, 9/17 – Box Office Premiere: Movie Day

  • Choose your favorite movie and dress the part!

  • Examples: Harry Potter, Star Wars Jedi, Toy Story, Hunger Games tribute, Minions, Barbie & Ken, etc.

  • Works for everyone since it can be as simple as a T-shirt or as creative as a costume.

  • DONATION: PopTarts

  • Clash of Classes Kickball Tournament Point Sheet

    • HCHS Softball Field (behind NMS) - FREE ADMISSION

    • 5:30pm - Doors Open 5:30pm

    • 6:00pm - Full Grade Level Pictures & Uniform Judging

      • Overall Kickball Attendance - ALL Student Sections MUST stay in stands

        • 1st - 10, 2nd - 7, 3rd - 5, 4th - 3

      • Best Class Color Uniforms - Judged by referees

  • Celebrate TV shows through the decades.

  • Old cartoons (Scooby Doo, Flintstones, SpongeBob).

  • Nickelodeon/Disney Channel throwbacks (Hannah Montana, Drake & Josh, Wizards of Waverly Place).

  • Classics or iconic sitcoms (Friends, The Office, Stranger Things, Full House).

  • Everyone can find a “scene” from their TV era.

  • DONATION: Mac N Cheese

Friday, 9/19 – The Grand Finale: Extreme Maroon & White

  • The big premiere night! Go head-to-toe in your school’s colors.

  • HCHS: Extreme Maroon & White with face paint, wigs, accessories.

  • DONATION: Ramen Noodles

  • DUE Friday, 9/19 - GRADE LEVEL BANNER

    • “Class of” identifier

    • School theme (#SetTheScene) & Homecoming Related

    • 6ft Bulletin board paper

    • Judged by Central Office during lunch on Friday, 9/19/25

    • Completed by Class Officers or same grade level students (not adults)

    • Must NOT contain any negative language towards other grade levels

      • The rubric will be based on creativity, school colors, school theme, and homecoming-related content

Saturday, 9/20 – Curtain Call: HOMECOMING DANCE

  • The entire week is one giant production ending with the BIG DANCE.

  • Doors open 7:00 pm, event “begins” 7:30 pm

  • Ends 10:00 pm
