HENDERSON, KY – Henderson County High School (HCHS) is pleased to announce that Mrs. Leslie Bartow has been selected as the school’s new Green Unit Principal. Mrs. Bartow steps into the role with 20 years of dedicated service in education, all of which have been served right here within Henderson County Schools.
Mrs. Bartow joins the HCHS leadership team after serving for the past seven years as the Assistant Principal at Spottsville Elementary School. Her diverse career within the district spans multiple grade levels and leadership roles, giving her a unique and comprehensive understanding of student growth and academic success.
Her journey with Henderson County Schools began in 2005, when she first served the district as a substitute teacher. In 2008, she transitioned into a full-time teaching role at North Middle School, where she dedicated six years as an 8th-grade teacher. Recognizing her talent for curriculum design and teacher mentorship, she then served as an Instructional Coach at East Heights Elementary School for four years before transitioning into administration at Spottsville.
On a personal note, Mrs. Bartow is married to her husband, Ben, and they are the proud parents of two adult sons and one granddaughter.

Mrs. Bartow expressed her enthusiasm for her new role at the high school, stating: “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the students, staff, and families of our high school.”
Mrs. Bartow’s broad experience from elementary to middle school, coupled with her instructional expertise, positions her perfectly to support HCHS students as they navigate their crucial high school years and prepare for the future.
