HCHS Fight Song

Today we were excited to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new Spottsville Bridge with Governor Andy Beshear. This newer, wider bridge will allow our students in the Spottsville and Reed area safer transport to school. Thank you for investing in our students, families and community.

Congratulations to HCHS Girls Basketball Coach Jeff Haile on his induction into the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame this weekend.

Under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) ALL Henderson County students will receive free breakfast and lunch during the 2022-2023 school year.

Sports teams, non-profits, and after-school activity groups.
Do you have a flier that you would like to send home through our schools with your information? Just a reminder you need to complete a request for Community Fliers/Advertisement form and receive approval from the Board of Education office prior to dropping off fliers at our schools. https://forms.gle/byfEAZhZjNoyNzJr8

During the July Board of Education meeting, the board accepted the original antique wall clock from the old two-story Jefferson School. The clock was donated on behalf of Risher Willard, son of Miles R. Willard, principal, teacher, and coach in the Henderson School system in the early 1960s. Mr. Willard was gifted the clock from the old Jefferson when it was torn down for a new school in the early 1960s.
Our Child Nutrition Department has been rocking it this summer! 164,583 meals have been provided for children in our community.
Just a reminder there is no meal pick up this week.
We will start again next week!
