Congratulations to Mrs. Stacey Fish from South Middle School-Henderson, KY and Mr. Will Roberts from North Middle School for graduating recently from the Leadership Institute for School Principals.
Throughout the years, Henderson County Schools has had the opportunity to send 18 of our principals to this program. Our district appreciates the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Foundation and The Truist Leadership Institute for investing in this opportunity for Kentucky public school administrators. This world-class program is propelling our leaders to make meaningful changes to our schools and further enhancing the educational experience of our students. The impact will be felt for generations of Kentucky students.

The Henderson County Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the Henderson County High School Media Center, 2424 Zion Road, Henderson, KY 42420.

We understand that lane closures on KY 351/2nd Street have caused some inconveniences, particularly during drop-off and pick-up times. Unfortunately, this situation is beyond our control, and we ask for your patience and cooperation during this period. To help manage this, we recommend planning for extra travel time and considering alternate routes if possible. The lane closures are expected to remain in place throughout the summer.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work through this challenge together during the last few days of school.
